About New Hope for Children

New Hope for Children is a COA Hague-accredited, licensed non-profit adoption agency based in Dover, New Hampshire, with international programs in Ghana and Uganda. They’ve brought more than 1,000 children home to forever families and support both prospective adoptive parents and birth mothers through the process.

The Build

Adoption is one of the most emotionally weighted decisions a family ever makes, and the website is often the first place they look. The site had to feel hopeful and human without slipping into sentimentality, and it had to communicate the rigor of a Hague-accredited agency without reading like a legal disclosure. We organized the experience around the two distinct audiences — adoptive families and birth mothers — with clear, unhurried entry points into each program.

Design Style

Calm, professional, hope-forward. A minimalist layout with neutral whites and grays, modern sans-serif typography, and generous whitespace lets the imagery breathe. Inspirational photography of families and children carries the emotional content; accreditation badges and certification marks anchor the credibility. The overall effect is mission-driven without being saccharine.
