EdTech
For edtech marketers whose buyers ask an assistant which platform to shortlist.

Be the platform AI names when the committee asks.

AI visibility programs for edtech platforms, online learning providers and training companies. We build the brand mentions, community signal and earned media that get you named by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and AI Overviews — paired with on-site fixes that make your outcomes and integrations legible to a machine. Run as a scoped program against a specific gap, or as an ongoing engagement.

// Why edtech is invisible in AI

The shortlist is built before the committee ever meets.

Whether the buyer is a district administrator, a university procurement lead, a corporate L&D director or an individual learner, the first move is the same: ask an assistant which platforms are worth considering. The three or four named in that answer become the evaluation. Everything else is arguing its way onto a list that has already closed.

Edtech has a specific disadvantage here. Assistants answering platform questions lean heavily on comparison roundups, community threads and review sites, and the category has a dense, well-optimised layer of affiliate roundups sitting between vendors and buyers. Where a vendor has no independent presence on those surfaces, the assistant describes the product entirely in somebody else's words — often a competitor's.

The fix is presence where the answer is assembled, not more product copy.

AI names rival platforms on shortlisting queries
Affiliate roundups mediating your category
Strong outcomes data, none of it citable
No presence in educator or L&D communities
Integration and compliance detail buried in sales decks
Long procurement cycles hiding where deals were lost

Start with the report. Then pick the shape.

01

Phase 1 · Free AI Visibility Report

We run the prompts your buyers actually type — platform shortlisting, comparison, alternative and "best tool for" queries across your segment — through ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, and show you which platforms get named instead of you and which sources those answers are built from.

02

Phase 2 · Choose how the work runs

Two shapes, the same work underneath. A scoped program targets a specific, named gap against a fixed price and a defined outcome. An ongoing Managed AEO/SEO engagement keeps content, mentions, technical fixes and reporting running month over month. The report tells you which one your gap actually calls for — and most teams move between the two as coverage builds.

03

Phase 3 · Build and report

Depending on the findings: making outcomes, integrations, accessibility and compliance detail extractable rather than gated; building presence in the educator, L&D and practitioner communities assistants read; earning the independent roundups and media coverage that currently answer for your category. Whichever shape you pick, you get a line-by-line report every month of exactly what shipped.

What was initially some service page sales copy led to evaluations into our overall sales cycle and how content and email opt-ins through white papers and our revenue calculator tool could be leveraged to generate more leads.

What edtech marketers ask before signing on.

What does an engagement actually include?

+

Every engagement opens with a free AI Visibility Report. From there the work targets whichever signals the report surfaces — on-site fixes, off-site signal building (brand mentions, community presence, links from earned media), or both. You can take that as a scoped program aimed at one named gap, or as an ongoing Managed AEO/SEO engagement that also carries content production, technical work and monthly reporting. Either way you get a line-by-line report of everything shipped.

How long is the engagement?

+

It depends which shape you take. A scoped AI Visibility program runs three months to a defined outcome and then ends. Managed AEO/SEO runs on a 12-month engagement, because search and AI visibility compound and a program judged on its first quarter gets steered toward vanity metrics instead of the pages that drive pipeline — with a 30-day cancellation notice and no early-termination fee if it genuinely is not working. Exact terms are set out in your proposal before you sign.

Our category is dominated by affiliate roundups. Can you do anything about that?

+

You will not displace them and we would not promise to. What you can do is become one of the vendors those roundups name, and build enough independent corroboration — community presence, earned coverage, review volume — that assistants have a second source when they answer. The report identifies exactly which roundups your answers are being built from, so the work targets those specifically.

We sell to districts, universities and corporates. Do those need separate work?

+

They ask genuinely different questions — a district lead asks about accessibility and student data privacy, an L&D director asks about integrations and reporting. The report runs prompts for each segment you sell into, and the program prioritises whichever shows the largest gap rather than spreading thin across all of them.

Our procurement cycle is six to twelve months. How do you measure that?

+

We do not claim closed revenue on a cycle shorter than yours. We measure what the work moves: how often assistants name you on your shortlisting queries, which sources they cite, and how that shifts over the engagement. Pipeline effects arrive on your cycle, not ours. An ongoing engagement gives you more of that curve to watch; a scoped program gives you a cleaner before-and-after on one named gap.

How much of our outcomes data can we actually publish?

+

More than most teams assume, and this is usually the highest-leverage on-site change. Efficacy data, completion rates and accessibility conformance often sit in sales decks and gated PDFs where assistants cannot read them. Where results are client-specific and confidential, aggregate and anonymised figures are still citable.

How is this different from a generalist B2B agency?

+

A generalist will optimise for demo requests against a SaaS playbook. Edtech buying is committee-led, evidence-led and heavily mediated by third-party roundups. The program focuses on presence where the shortlist is actually assembled and on making your evidence extractable.

How long until mention lift becomes measurable?

+

Initial lift typically becomes measurable in the weeks following the first placements and on-site fixes, as new content indexes and assistants begin pulling from it. Broader coverage across shortlisting and comparison queries extends over the following months.

Will this work alongside our existing marketing team?

+

Yes. Most edtech clients have a team covering demand generation, conferences and customer marketing. We focus on the AI visibility layer specifically — the off-site signals and on-site structure that decide whether you get named in the answer.
